Parrot island waterpark wins big at annual best of the best awards

Fort Smith, Ark - October 10, 2019 - Staff members from Parrot Island Waterpark of Fort Smith, Arkansas recently attended the annual Best of the Best Awards Gala on Friday, October 4th at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Online voting began in August with the waterpark landing in the top 3 in 3 different categories. The overall winners were announced at the ceremony last week.

Parrot Island won first place for Best Place for a Birthday Party, Best Family Amusement and Best Local Tourist Attraction.
"We would like to thank everyone who voted for us. These awards make us really proud because we know that the citizens in our area are the ones who voted for us to win. The team at Parrot Island Waterpark works really hard during the season to make this a fun place for our community to spend their summers." Attending the event on behalf of the waterpark were Lauren Mathis, Marketing Supervisor, Lucinda White, Assistant General Manager, Miles Epperson, Group Sales Supervisor and Kyle Taylor, General Manager.
