Grizzly jack's grand bear resort to host first responders appreciation reception

Utica, IL - Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort will host a special Appreciation Reception to thank local and regional first responders for their tireless efforts battling a fire at Grand Bear Falls Indoor Waterpark located at Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort.

Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm, Grizzly Jack's will host an open bar and hors d'oeuvres for every First Responder and a guest in attendance. The event will be held in the resort's Grand Ballroom, and associates at the resort will also be offering facility tours in order to further connect with the community.
"Thanks to the efforts of First Responders, the damage from the unfortunate mechanical fire was limited to just a small portion of the waterpark," said Jeffrey Mona, President and Principal for American Resort Management, which professionally manages Grizzly Jack's. "Because of them, we are able to continue to welcome guests to the resort, and we want to show our appreciation.".

On January 2, 2018 Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Falls Indoor Waterpark suffered a mechanical fire, and First Responders quickly arrived at the scene to ensure the safety of the resort's guests and staff, while limiting the damage from the fire. Thanks to their efforts, the only damage to the resort was contained to the waterpark, and the lodging and restaurant areas of the resort continue to remain open to the public.
